The Alula PRM requires a technician to replace the battery. If a low battery alert occurs, it should resolve within 24 hours of power being restored to the PRM. If the alert doesn't resolve, please contact us to schedule a technician visit. Also, sometimes alarms just need a kick in the butt.

Sometimes a device that uses DC power such as glass break sensors or motion detectors, can have a problem which affects the power on the board. Try disconnecting the positive power wire from the board. Check the diagram inside the door cover or check your manual to be sure. The wire should be red and the terminal will be labeled aux power (+) or keypad power. With the wires disconnected, check the power from the battery wires and try to clear the trouble.
